Run Day Schedule
Runners' Packet Pick-upRun morning at Kew Gardens at the Martin Goodman Trail on Sunday, July 27th from 7:30am until 10 minutes before the start of each run. Email confirmation is NOT required but photo ID is required in order to pick-up your shirt, your bib, your key chain or receive your BBQ ticket (depending on what option you registered for). Charity100% of the $20 entry fee for the Beaches Jazz Tune-up run is donated to a great cause, The Toronto Beach Rotary Club in support of the Toronto East General Hospital Campaign. You can make an additional donation when you register online at www.eventsonline.ca or you can collect offline pledges using the printable pledge form (PDF, 550 KB) and hand them in on the day of the run at Kew Gardens. Course and MapClick image to see larger map (PDF, 40 KB). We're taking you on a little tour of waterfront landmarks for these run routes. All three start at the south end of Kew Gardens and go west on the Martin Goodman Trail (has a green and blue line down the middle of the paved path), following the trail as if going to Harbourfront. The 5k run or walk: goes out 2.5k, turns around at Leslie. 10k run or walk: goes out 5k, turns around at North Shore Park 20k run or walk: goes out 10k, turns around at the end of York Quay
Centre (just west of Lower Simcoe/Queens Quay) Kew Gardens is southeast of Woodbine & Queen... to get there take Queen Street east of Woodbine to Waverly, go south and park somewhere along Kew Beach Ave. or Kenilworth if you can. Kew Gardens is at Kew Beach Ave. and Kenilworth. WaterThe run and walk routes along the waterfront do not have fountains so carry your own drink. We WILL have a water station at the turnaround of the 5k so everyone can top up there. TimingWe will have a clock at the finish line, but there will be no official chip timing — please keep track of your own run or walk time. Barbeque and EntertainmentOnce you are done your run/walk, we will be having a post-run/walk barbeque at the finish line. All proceeds go directly to the Beaches Rotary Club in support of the Toronto East General Hospital Campaign. The BBQ will be followed by a fabulous day of Beaches Jazz MainStage Concerts in the park, from 11:30am until 6:30pm. Getting There & ParkingGetting There:TTC Routes:
