Montreal Children's Hospital Foundation
The mission of the Foundation is to support excellence in care at The Montreal Children's Hospital of the McGill University Health Centre. This objective is attained by contributing to the advancement of teaching and research, and by purchasing cutting-edge medical equipment. Founded in 1973, the Foundation undertakes a variety of fundraising activities year-round to help The Children's pursue its mission of excellence in pediatric care. These include direct mail, planned giving, major gifts, tribute programs, and special events. We are also in the final stages of a $100 million capital campaign to help build the new Children's on the Glen Site, which is scheduled to be completed in 2014. Thanks to our donors' generosity and the unwavering support of the community, we raised close to $20 million in 2010-2011.
