The Lymphedema Association of Quebec (LAQ) is a registered charity founded in 1999 in order to:
- increase awareness and inform people with lymphedema, their family as well health professionals about lymphedema, its causes, risk reduction as well as its treatments;
- help and support people living with lymphedema;
- provide and maintain services related to the well-being of people with lymphedema;
- encourage research for the cure of lymphedema.
