Canadian Half Marathon Championships
The Banque Scotia 21K de Montréal is the site of the 2011 Canadian Half-Marathon Championships.
Eligibility for Canadian Championship Title
Athletes registering to compete at the 2011 Banque Scotia 21K de Montréal are eligible to contest for the Canadian Championship title in their respective division, if they:
- Are a Canadian Citizen (Only Canadian Citizens are eligible to be declared Canadian Champions and receive a medal and championships award).
- Are an Athletics Canada member through their provincial branch.
- Note: All Canadian athletes MUST be registered for the current year (2011) with their Provincial Branch, prior to entry.

Eligibility for Assistance
Athletes who qualify for the Championship, according to the criteria set out above, may also apply for travel and accommodations assistance, as follows:
Full travel and accommodations, plus race entry:
- Men who have run 1:06:30 or faster for a certified half marathon since January 1, 2010, or equivalent.
- Women who have run 1:17:00 or faster for a certified half marathon since January 1, 2010, or equivalent.
Partial travel and accommodations, plus race entry:
- Men who have run 1:08:00 or faster for a certified half marathon since January 1, 2010, or equivalent.
- Women who have run 1:19:00 or faster for a certified half marathon since January 1, 2010, or equivalent.
Canadian Half Marathon Championships Prize Structure
Men & Women [each]:
- 1st — $2,000
- 2nd — $1,200
- 3rd — $1,000
- 4th — $800
- 5th — $500
