»Countdown to Harry’s Spring Run-Off 8K To Fight Prostate Cancer in Vancouver

The fourth annual Harry’s Spring Run-Off 8K To Fight Prostate Cancer is just around the corner, but there’s still time to sign up for the March 7 race and help raise money to support groundbreaking research and patient care at Vancouver Prostate Centre at VGH.

Welcome springtime in Vancouver by enjoying a scenic loop of the Stanley Park seawall, starting from Lumberman's Arch, around Lost Lagoon, past Third Beach and under Lion's Gate Bridge.

Register now individually or as a team at http://www.canadarunningseries.com/spring8k and then sign up to fundraising at http://www.harryrosenrunforvgh.ca. You can win great prizes from Harry Rosen and The Running Room - and the more money you raise, the better the prize.

Remember, your money will go towards a worthy cause. One in every six men will face the diagnosis of prostate cancer during his lifetime. It is the second leading cause of male cancer death (after lung cancer) and is the most frequently diagnosed cancer in Canadian men. Your fundraising will have a direct and immediate impact on the lives of men with prostate cancer and their families across BC.

Clif Cunningham Dear Fellow Runners,

It's time, if you haven't registered yet, you have just over 24 hours to get your online registration in. Online registration closes on Tuesday March 2nd at Midnight.

If you want to wait until the weekend, you can register at Packet Pickup - Friday, March 5th between 4-6pm and Saturday, March 6th between 10am-4pm at Running Room, 679 Denman St. - but I'm letting you know the price goes up to $50, and when we reach the cap of 1600 runners, registration will close.

Come out and join us and support the great cause, supporting research at the Vancouver Prostate Centre at VGH, start your online fundraising campaign at - http://www.harryrosenrunforvgh.ca.

Get your registration in now, have to run, taking care of the final touches for the run this weekend.
