Camp Oochigeas needs your help to bring fun camp programs to children affected by cancer! As an organization that does not receive government funding, Ooch would not be possible without donors like you.

At Camp Oochigeas our goal is to enrich the lives of children with cancer.
Camp Oochigeas is a privately funded, volunteer based organization that provides kids with cancer and kids affected by childhood cancer with a unique opportunity for growth through challenging, fun, enriching and magical experiences.
2008 will mark Camp Oochigeas' 25th summer of camp. Ooch currently provides year-round programming to over 500 children through a variety of programs including:
- Eight weeks of summer camp and five weekends at camp during the fall and winter that build friendships and increase self-confidence within our campers
- Scheduled activities at The Hospital for Sick Children four days and three evenings each week that bring the fun spirit of camp to both in- and out-patients in the hospital
- The In-City program that provides day camp opportunities in Toronto to children who are either too young or unable to attend summer camp
- Targeted programs for teens including a two-week wilderness expedition that allows them to test limits and develop leadership skills in order to become strong, capable adults
Camp Oochigeas' programs are staffed by doctors and nurses from The Hospital for Sick Children. At camp they can provide IV chemotherapy and blood transfusions, which allows campers who are in the midst of their cancer treatment to attend camp.
