The Magic of Ooch
Camp Oochigeas is a privately funded, volunteer based organization that provides kids with cancer and kids affected by childhood cancer with a unique opportunity for growth through challenging, fun, enriching and magical experiences.
Camp Oochigeas' programs are staffed by doctors and nurses from The Hospital for Sick Children. At camp they can provide IV chemotherapy and blood transfusions, which allows campers who are in the midst of their cancer treatment to attend camp.
Camp Ooch has grown to offer more childhood experiences to kids with cancer:
- Summer Residential Camp
- Weekends at Camp throughout the fall and winter
- In-hospital Programming 6 days a week at the Hospital for Sick Children
- Day Camp for children ages 4-6
- In-city Outings
- Teen Leadership Programs

Last year as a team we raised over $800,000 for Camp Oochigeas! We would like to thank the over 750 dedicated fundraisers who came together for Camp Ooch. In 2010, we are hoping that more people than ever before will join the Ooch Community to help us surpass $1 million dollars and give more children than ever before the opportunity to experience the Magic of Ooch.
