2008 Entertainment and Cheering Centres and Post-Run Party at the Sporting Life 10k
Coming out to watch the SL10k? Gather at the following locations on Canada's fastest,
and most-fun 10k course—for great live entertainment as you watch the race!
Runners, you will be energized as you run past the music and crowds! The finish line will
be a party with DJ Roxanne. Then at Roundhouse Park you'll be rocked by The Paul James Band,
8:45-9:45am—not to be missed!

1. Yonge & St. Clair (west side, just north of Heath St. opposite cemetery)

Band. A chartiable organization, the youth band has traveled all over the world performing at various venues, festivals

David Leask's traditional Celtic music is infused with a "funky" country-pop

Refined, Tight and Raw. Nunca Antes presents a world of rhythmic reference based on the raw
groove of maracatu de baque virado. Aline Morales leads the troupe through traditional and
cutting edge takes of martacatu, coco, baiao and funky stuff.

Son Montuno from Cuba. Lady Son writes all original material and every song has an important message about life, love,
and the social issues that affect us all. Lady Son honours the great Salseros and Soneros of the 20th century by
remembering them and continuing to add to this diverse and pulsating genre of Latin music.
