Kangogo, Harvey coast to victory at Scotiabank Vancouver Half Marathon — Defending champion Kip Kangogo of Lethbridge and Calgary veteran Lisa Harvey made it a good morning for Alberta as both earned comfortable victories in the 12th Annual Scotiabank Vancouver Half Marathon, breaking the tape in 63:51 and 1:17:46, respectively. Great Race Week Tips

Peak Centre for Human Performance

Get great race week tips from our friend Mike at the Peak Centre for Human Performance. Tip #1: Don't cram — training isn't like studying — cramming doesn't work! Running 20k the weekend before the race just to see if you can will leave you fatigued and will hurt your performance on race day. Instead, do 2-3 short easy runs of 20-40 minutes maximum with some short race pace intervals through the week.
