The Arthritis Society

The Arthritis Society, BC & Yukon Division

Who has been touched by arthritis in your life? Your mom? A brother? Your son or daughter? A close friend? In BC, more than 600,000 men, women and children are fighting some form of arthritis. The Arthritis Society, BC and Yukon Division is a source of hope for these people. Led by a team of dynamic volunteers, we support people affected by arthritis by promoting and funding vital research, care, education and advocacy. Together, we will realize a world without arthritis. Join our fight against arthritis! Support those living with arthritis.

The vision of the BC and Yukon Division of The Arthritis Society is to support research into new treatments and therapies and possible cures for arthritis and to enable and support people affected by arthritis to improve their quality of life.

The Arthritis Society provides hope for people living with the more than 100 types of arthritis through education, support, solutions and research. The Arthritis Society is a donor-funded organization, and we take our responsibility to our donors very seriously. Therefore, it is because of amazing events, like this, that we are able to continue all the hard work that we are doing.

Arthritis Answers Line is a toll-free telephone information service staffed by highly trained volunteers who provide support, information and assistance to those who call. If you have a question about arthritis, call 1.800.321.1433 (in the Lower Mainland call 604.875.5051) or email us at info@bc.arthritis.ca.
