The ASC operates a telephone Info Line where people can turn when they need answers from Certified Asthma Educators about asthma and its associated allergies and other triggers. Thousands of people call each year and go to our websites for vital information. The ASC advocates on behalf of adults and children living with asthma to ensure access to improved asthma care. Asthma is a chronic disease which affects 3 million Canadian, including 600,000 children. Education and support are keys to empowering people living with asthma to achieve any goal and live symptom-free.
