Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society — British Columbia Chapter
The Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society—British Columbia Chapter is a non-profit, grassroots-based conservation organization. We remain the only national non-profit organization devoted exclusively to protecting Canada's wilderness heritage. Most of the wilderness left in B.C. and our coast is in public hands. At CPAWS-BC, our goal is to protect at least half of it. We seek specific wilderness conservation from provincial, federal and First Nations governments. Our goal is to create large, meaningful protected areas with ecological strength — places that can nurse nature through climate change and shelter biodiversity forever.
