Run To End Poverty strives to build awareness and support for development initiatives that connect the skills and ambition of Africans to tangible opportunity. By collaborating with NGOs and connecting Canadians to the people of Africa, R2EP seeks to break down the stereotypes of poverty and build support for successful international development initiatives.
Run to End Poverty provides team members with the opportunity to train, learn and race together. Through professional training workshops, beginners can build a strong base while experienced runners can improve their abilities and aim for their personal best!
Run to End Poverty is unique in that each running team is partnered with a development initiative in communities across Africa, where EWB is working hard to build local capacity and create positive change. Through this connection, Canadians can learn more about international development and the people whose lives are changed by organizations like Engineers Without Borders (Canada).
