The JIBC Foundation
The JIBC Foundation supports students and justice and public safety professionals educated at the Justice Institute of British Columbia (JIBC) by raising funds to provide scholarships and bursaries and equipment and tools for learning.
When there is an accident, a natural disaster, violence, or any threat to life or property, there is an expectation that professional help will respond. JIBC educates these first responders, as well as other supporting professionals such as child welfare counsellors, correctional officers, sheriffs, mediators, emergency managers, and victim services personnel. We prepare people to make good decisions in critical situations—decisions that can save lives and reduce the loss of property.
JIBC needs to continue to attract students to these professions. Our graduates provide a continuum of safety—from prevention, to response and recovery. Your support is a way to show your appreciation for the trained professionals in your community who respond when you call for help.
