Vancouver Aquarium

Vancouver Aquarium

The Vancouver Aquarium is a self-supporting, non-profit organization dedicated to effecting the conservation of aquatic life through display and interpretation, education, research, and direct action. Located in the heart of Stanley Park, our nationally recognized marine science facility provides visitors, students and researchers a window into fascinating aquatic regions of the world, with a significant focus on Canada's Arctic.

With the generous support of the community, the Aquarium is proud to offer innovative outreach and conservation programs, including: AquaVan our mobile classroom which brings experiential marine biology to thousands of students in inland communities; The Marine Mammal Rescue Centre, which rehabilitates hundreds of injured and distressed marine mammals; Ocean Wise, our sustainable seafood program for restaurants, markets and suppliers; and our flagship conservation program, The Great Canadian Shoreline Cleanup, which engages 60,000 volunteers each year cleaning waterways and shorelines across Canada. Thank you, your contribution makes a world of difference!
