YWCA
Founded in 1897, YWCA Vancouver serves over 3,000 women and families a week in 52 programs throughout Metro Vancouver. We address the needs of individual communities by providing affordable housing, early learning & care, youth programs, health and fitness, leadership, employment training and single mothers support services.
Your donation will support YWCA Vancouver's Welcome to My Life and Boys 4 Real programs for Grade 7 girls and boys. These programs encourage girls & boys to be healthier and more confident, promote self-awareness and self-esteem amongst each other and encourage mutual respect between them. The programs focus on giving youth positive skills that enable them to make a successful transition towards becoming responsible adults.
